Where craft meets community
In the beginning, it was just the warehouse and the brewing equipment—a small team of family and friends just excited to make something happen. The tasting room was only going to be a few barstools. But not too long after opening day in 2015, it became clear that something even greater was brewing… Upon yellow barstools, over glasses of Up River, a Central 28 community was born! While we shared with them our beer, they shared with us their passions for all sorts of things—running, biking, disc golf, art, music… Pretty soon we realized two things: first, we wanted in. And second, we were going to need to add some barstools—craft beer drinkers were bringing in some great ideas.
Today, we’re excited to host the Central 28 Running Club and the Central 28 Makers Market. Join our Central 28 Biking Club and explore our local section of the Florida Coast to Coast Trail: The River to Sea Loop!
We also host a variety of events like disc golf tournaments, live music, trivia nights, bingo, and much more.
We’re proud to have partnered with some wonderful organizations like the St. John’s Riverkeeper, the Central Florida Zoo, and the Brewing Funds the Cure project of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
